But how much do you know about who we are, and how we got to where we are today? We thought it was time to introduce ourselves as your Maid to Clean team. After all, the world is only as big as we make it, and we’d love to make your world feel just a little bit smaller by reaching out our hands and offering a friendly handshake.
A Cinderalla Story
Founded by Cinderella Bermudez in 1996, Cinderella Services first opened its doors as a professional home cleaning service in the Washington D.C. area. Over time, Cinderella Services became the company that is Maid to Clean, now serving hundreds of clients and employing more than 40 amazing humans.
Cinderella has always had an admirable work ethic, proven by her first entrepreneurial stint mowing lawns and cleaning yards in her West Texas community as a young child. When she was just a teenager, she opened a nacho stand at a town celebration and earned over $1,000 in a single day! This sparked Cinderella’s interest in community involvement, working hard and dreaming big.
After earning her degree in business from the University of Texas, Cinderella joined the Peace Corps and worked with women in Costa Rica, teaching principles of self-reliance. From this time forward, she’s had an intense interest in empowering women and serving within her community. Maid to Clean is a fulfillment of Cinderella’s passion for community, empowerment, and clean spaces!

Along with Pepita and Chocolatte, our adorable four-legged mascots (known for fetching important items and keeping the Maid to Clean staff entertained for hours), and Melissa Gouffray, Maid to Clean’s incredible business manager and accomplished Irish fiddle player, we welcome you to our green cleaning family and invite you to stay awhile!
