Terms and Conditions

General Terms and Conditions

Cleaning Supplies/ Equipment. Maid to Clean provides environmentally-friendly chemical-free products and all equipment required for the cleaning including the vacuum.

Booking a service online doesn’t guarantee you a spot for that date/time. You will be contacted by email or phone with a confirmation.

Right to Refuse Service

Cleaning technicians have the choice to leave upon arrival if the home is in extreme condition or they feel unsafe/threatened. If you book a cleaning online that is unreasonable, such as cleaning up after a large party, the cleaners may refuse service on the spot and you will be charged the maximum cancellation fee.

Price Adjustments

If the pricing calculator underestimates the price of your cleaning because the condition of your home is much worse than predicted or because you did not input the accurate information into our online pricing calculator, we will first inform you by call and email. We do have permission to adjust the price, charge the cleaning hourly, or refuse the service. The client agrees to pay the technician’s parking cost if incurred.

Cancellation or Unable to Access

You can reschedule or cancel an appointment here on our website, or call the office at (703) 299-0101. To cancel or reschedule without penalty, please advise us before 11:00am on the business day prior to your appointment. Monday and Saturday clients must provide notice before 11:00am on the preceding Friday. A $126.00 fee is automatically billed to credit cards for a late cancellation, late rescheduling, or if our teams are unable to access the property.

Cancellation during the cleaning

A  charge of  100 % of the estimated price as a cancellation fee will be applied for cleanings canceled by the client once the cleaning has started. We understand that cleaning starts once the Cleaning Technician enters the property.

Recurring Price Structure

Recurring clients receive discounts after their first cleaning. If you skip cleanings so that your cleaning frequency is lower than what you were set up for, your price will be increased to the pricing level for the lower frequency.
